Welcome to NAUfit Fall 2015!

This school year is going to be a great year - let's make it a healthy one!  If you are committed to improving your health, NAUfit can help you reach your goals.  Participants get prizes and tools along with free professional guidance and consultation to help you make the most of the new year. Meetings happen every Monday at 4:00 pm, or Tuesdays at 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm.  You choose the time that works for you!

Please note NAUfit is open to freshmen only in the fall of 2015!
Unfortunately this round of NAUfit is full, but check back in January for the next session. NAUfit Spring 2016 will be open to all students! 
If you've already signed up please join us in the Health Promotion Office on Monday Sep. 21st to kick things off.

What is NAUfit?

NAUfit is a FREE six week wellness program for students, offered through a collaboration with Health Promotion, Campus Recreation, and NAU Dining.   It aims to help students improve their overall health in the following areas:

  • Nutrition
  • Physical fitness
  • Stress management
  • Healthy Sleep
What's in it for me?

Each week participants receive tools and prizes to help them reach their weekly health goal.

Participants also have a chance to meet other students who are interested in improving their own health.

The group setting provides information, tips, tricks and moral support to help you reach your personal wellness goals!

What are the prizes?

Weekly incentives are for EVERYONE who attends the brief info meetings and include:

Water bottles, resistance bands, sleep kits, jump ropes, and more!

There will also be weekly drawings for raffle prizes!

When does it start?
NAUfit fall 2015 begins Sep. 21st!  Be sure to register online by Sep. 17th. Space is limited to the first 150 people!
What's the time commitment?

20 minutes each week to attend a quick information meeting and a few minutes each day to track your progress toward your health goal!

Beginning Monday, September 21st-you choose the time that fits your schedule!

Do I have to be a health nut to join?

Absolutely not! NAUfit is for any student interested in maximizing his or her personal health at any level!

Please note that NAUfit is open to freshmen only in the fall; however, all students are welcome to participate in the spring sessions!
