Welcome to NAUfit Spring 2016!

2016 is going to be a great year - let's make it a healthy one!  If you are committed to improving your health, NAUfit offers just the help you need to reach those goals.  Participants win prizes and earn wellness tools just for being there! The program offers hands-on experiences with free professional guidance and consultation to help you make the most of the new year. Multiple meetings happen each week, you choose the time that works for you!

What is NAUfit?

NAUfit is a FREE six week wellness program for students, offered through a collaboration with Health Promotion, Campus Recreation, and NAU Dining.   It aims to help students improve their overall health in the following areas:

  • Nutrition
  • Physical fitness
  • Stress management
  • Healthy Sleep
What's in it for me?

Each week participants receive tools and prizes to help them reach their weekly health goals.

The group setting provides information, tips, tricks and moral support to help you reach your personal wellness goals!

What are the prizes?

Weekly incentives are for EVERYONE who attends the meetings - free food, water bottles, resistance bands, sleep kits, and more!

There will also be weekly drawings for raffle prizes! Win a 1-hour massage, dining dollars, personal training sessions, and other great prizes.

When does it start?
NAUfit Spring 2016 begins Monday, February 1st! Be sure to register online (right on this page) by the end of January. Space is limited to the first 150 people!
What's the time commitment?

This 6-week program runs from the week of February 1st to the week of March 7th. There are multiple meetings each week to make it easy on your schedule!  Join us once a week at the meeting of your choice. Each hands-on meeting lasts around 30 minutes:


  • Mondays, 4:00-4:30 PM
  • Tuesdays: 1:00-1:30 PM
  • Tuesdays: 4:00-4:30 PM
In addition to the weekly meetings, we ask that you take 5-10 minutes per day to practice the new healthy skills you'll be learning each week.  The more you track your progress, the more chances you have to win!
