Orientation for international students
We strongly recommend that you arrive in Flagstaff at least
one week before classes begin. You will need this time to find a place to live
and to become familiar with your new surroundings. Remember, it could take several weeks to find a place to live off-campus. Click here for more information about housing.
International students must also check in with the Center for International Education by Monday, August 18, 2014. Failure to do so will result in a student not receiving a visa.
Orientations for international students
Two mandatory orientations are required for all new international graduate students. The first orientation is hosted by the Center for International Education, and the second orientation is hosted by the Graduate College.
Center for International Education Orientation
The Center for International Education Orientation session will help you learn about immigration regulations on visa
status, academic and social life at NAU, and the services offered by the Center for International Education. Tours of the campus and library may also be included.
The CIE Orientation will be on Monday, August 18, 2014, in the Du Bois Center.
