Biography

Art is a retired banker who remains active in the investment and mutual fund industries. His career history includes Senior Vice President and Manager of the Trust Division at Valley National Bank, Vice President of Investment Research at Citibank in New York, Director of Investment Research at Irving Trust Company, as well Chairman of the Board and Director of St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix. A veteran, Art served in both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans during World War II ending as Commanding Officer of the USS SC 1372. Art was named Statesman of the Year by the Phoenix Society of Financial Analysts in 1990 and is a recipient of the Presidential cuff links from President Ford. Art and his wife Jean have three daughters and six grandchildren.
