Lisa earned her dual degree (management and Spanish) while working as an interpreter for the law offices of Aspey, Watkins & Diesel. She is currently the executive vice president and global chief marketing officer for Cigna. She previously served as vice president of marketing at American Family Insurance Group (Madison, WI), and director of global marketing strategy with Ford Motor Company (Detroit) where she had worldwide responsibility for corporate communications, consumer insight, brand strategy, and marketing development. She also served as director of marketing for Ford of Mexico (Mexico City). She has been the recipient of a number of professional awards and honors, including The CMO Award for Content Marketing, a Webby award for website excellence, an Internet Advertising Competition (IAC) award for online content and branded entertainment, 2010 Diversity MBA “Top 50 Under 50”, 2009 La Raza Business Leader of the Year, and a four time Effie Award winner. Lisa currently serves as president of the Cigna Foundation, and seats on the Teradata Corporation Board of Directors. Lisa is a member of Northern Arizona University’s W. A. Franke College of Business Alumni & Faculty Hall of Fame. She and her husband Brian have two children, Brent and Shelby.
