Scholarships
Scholarships are awarded based on one or more of the following
criteria:
- academic merit
- financial need
- personal background
Some scholarships have specific requirements or conditions that must be
met, and many are renewable each year.
First year incoming freshman (those who have not previously attended
another institution) are automatically considered for some academic
scholarships once they have been offered admission to NAU. Students who would like to be considered for
a merit tuition scholarship should send in their undergraduate admission
application, official transcript and official SAT and/or ACT scores as early as
possible after the completion of their junior year. To receive merit scholarships, the student
must be a US citizen.
