University Grants

Resident Set-Aside and nonresident Set-Aside grants are awarded to students who are at least half time undergraduates. No additional paperwork is needed to apply for these grants; however, because of the limited nature of these funds, it is important to submit the FAFSA and have your financial aid file complete by the priority deadline each year.

Renewal Criteria for students entering the University Fall 2011 and later

You are guaranteed to receive the same tuition rate for four years and will see no increase in your meal plan for two years.  In addition, as a recipient of the University Grant, you are guaranteed to receive the same amount of University Grant for an additional three years, provided you meet certain criteria.  In order to receive the University Grant for these additional three years, please ensure that you adhere to the following:

  • Maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0 or better.
  • Complete 30 credit hours each academic year (may include summer and winter sessions).
