The University has developed a formal standard for all Windows Based Desktop, Workstation, Server, and Notebook class computer systems and service. Standardization reduces the University's total cost of ownership (TCO) by streamlining the ordering process, reducing support costs, reducing acquisition costs, and provides the University a higher level of service.

Dell Computer Corporation has been awarded as the University's supplier of Windows based computer systems.
