Northern
Arizona University Police Department (NAUPD) gives you a peace of mind with a
safety escort service on campus and an excess of 100 blue emergency phones that
ring directly to their dispatch center. They also offer student programs in:
- alcohol and DUI awareness
- sexual assault and relationship violence
awareness
- general safety and property theft prevention
- violence prevention support
- safety tips and related
information

Our University
Police Department is a full-service law enforcement agency staffed by sworn
police officers certified by the state of Arizona and accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement
Agencies.
Clery report
Read the most recent annual security report to obtain information regarding NAUPD policies and
procedures and campus crime statistics for the last three years. You can also
view the daily crime log,
which lists reported campus crimes during the most recent 30 days.
Fire safety report
In 2010—the most recent statistics available—there were no fire-related fatalities or injuries and property damage
was less than $400.
