Elementary Education - Certification, Master of Education

This degree is designed to prepare you for a successful teaching career in grades 1-8.

You will be provided the theoretical knowledge and practical skills to prepare you for a career in teaching. When you graduate, your advanced degree will put you ahead of the competition in your field.

This terminal master’s degree leads to an Institutional Recommendation for Elementary Teacher Certification in the State of Arizona.

Courses include current teaching methods, practicum, and student teaching experiences, as well as courses in assessment, technology, and curriculum.

Degree Requirements

To earn this degree, students complete 46 credit hours including a 45-hour practicum and a full semester (80 days) of student teaching.
