Curriculum and Instruction Doctoral Program - Culturally Linguistically Diverse Exceptional Education Emphasis
Instruction Doctoral program with
emphasis in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Exceptional (CLDE) Education
–- The Focus in CLDE prepares Special Education teachers to become Faculty
members in special education . Fall and
Spring courses offered online. Mandatory summer courses are offered in person
on the Flagstaff campus. The cohort is fast paced, with completion expected by
number of fellowships, provided by the LEADER grant, will be available. Fellowships
include tuition, books, travel to the Flagstaff campus when necessary, and
summer housing as needed. After graduation from the program, grant recipients
would be required to work for a minimum of 10 years (2018-2028) as a full time
special education faculty member in a university.
