JEP Submission Guidelines

Manuscripts are invited that take seriously the broad issues of rights to an education in the public domain and the debates that emerge around differing opinions regarding education policy making in a democratic society.
The Journal of Education Policy is a blind peer reviewed journal published twice each year, Fall and Spring.
  • Submission deadline for the Spring issue is February 15th. Notification on or before April 1st.
  • Submission deadline for the Fall issue is September 1st. Notification on or before September 30th.
Please, follow these directions:

  • Manuscripts up to 3000 words may be submitted
  • Use New Times Roman font size 12
  • Single line space your document
  • Do not indent the paragraph- use a single line space between each paragraph
  • Bold your section headings, flush to the left margin
  • Use APA 6th edition
  • References- double space and no indentation on second/subsequent lines.
Include the following information:
  • Title
  • Author(s)
  • University
Submission of manuscripts implies a commitment to publish in the JEP and are original works for publication solely in the Journal of Education Policy. Accepted manuscripts are subject to editorial modification.
