Arrange housing

If you arrive before or after these dates, you must make arrangements to get to campus as well as stay in a hotel. If you have applied and been accepted for on-campus housing, the dorms available for fall will open for regular check-in on Saturday, August 24. Early accommodation is available in NAU residence halls for students with campus housing contracts from August 20 (Tuesday) through August 24 (Saturday) at additional cost. When arriving prior to the move-in date, you must make other housing arrangements until your move-in date.

Submit your request for arrival using the form below (requires your university ID number)

We also advise that you arrange your housing accommodations before coming to Flagstaff, in order to make your arrival smoother. To inquire about on-campus housing, please visit NAU Residence Life Housing Options. For off-campus housing options, please see the new admitted student information at Admitted Students

Shuttle from Phoenix

Flagstaff is approximately two hours from the Phoenix airport, so if you are flying into Phoenix, we recommend using Arizona Shuttle, which makes frequent trips from the Phoenix airport to the Flagstaff train station and Northern Arizona University campus. You can find more information about them and make reservations at their website.

Credit cards

Please note that it is your responsibility to have a working American credit card or enough American cash to cover the cost of the taxi fare.
