The Center for International Education (CIE) is charged with providing leadership in the development and execution of the university's strategic plan for the internationalization of the campus and curriculum. We work diligently to:
- strengthen the academic infrastructure for
- support faculty development opportunities
through international teaching and research
- develop and nurture relationships with partner
universities and organizations overseas
- provide a variety of services to international
students and visiting scholars
the recruitment and admission of international students
- offer extensive support to Northern Arizona
University students seeking study abroad opportunities
As a result of the of work of the Center for International Education, NAU received the 2012 Paul Simon Award for Comprehensive Internationalization. We are proud of this national recognition and we are even more committed to serving as a model for leadership in international education.
