Our nationally ranked physical therapy program
The physical therapy program is offered in Flagstaff and Phoenix.
At Northern Arizona University (NAU), our hands-on,
collaborative Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program will help you become a well-rounded generalist with an integrated understanding of the field—one that
will prepare you for a wide variety of positions upon graduation.
Our program is academically rigorous: of the more than 1100 applicants for the 2014 academic year, we accepted 78. Our program requires a
serious time commitment, 33 months of full-time study.
Successful completion of our competitive, nationally ranked program—and the licensure exam—will give you the qualifications to be a
Doctor of Physical Therapy in any of the 50 states and territories.

High pass rate for licensure exam
The overall pass rate of our
students on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) averages 99.2
percent. The employment rate for our students who have passed the NPTE is 100
percent.
