RN-BSN Program requirements
Liberal studies (35 unit minimum)
You must complete 35 units of Liberal Studies courses. If
you transfer to NAU college and your transcripts certifies that you completed
either an Arizona General Education Curriculum (AGEC) or a Transfer General
Education Core Curriculum (TGECC), you have satisfied NAU's Liberal Studies
requirements.
Foundations (7 unit minimum)

- You are eligible to apply if you’re in your second semester of an associate degree nursing program in the state of Arizona, with a
GPA of 3.0 and approval from your associate degree nursing program faculty
advisor. You may begin the program in your 3rd semester.
- If you do not hold an RN license, you are eligible to take NUR 307, NUR
330, NUR 320, NUR 321 ,NUR 390W, NUR 420, and NUR 424, but are not
eligible to enroll in NUR 427, NUR 450C, and NUR 408.
- You are eligible to transfer up to 64 units from
a 2-year institution.
- If you graduated from an Arizona community
college RN program, you are eligible to transfer up to 90 units from a 2-year
institution.
- You are eligible to transfer an unlimited amount
of units from a 4-year institution.
