Bachelor of Science in Nursing – Tucson program
We offer the pre-licensure BSN at the Tucson North Campus.
Program overview
The BSN Tucson Program is an exact replica of our Flagstaff
campus program, and prepares you to provide nursing care for individuals,
families, and communities in a variety of urban and rural settings. We admit 40
students per year in the Tucson campus program.
Students applying to the Tucson Nursing program should be advised that admission is highly competitive. While we consider many factors in the admissions process including GPA, number of credits taken at NAU, and community service, we require a minimum Kaplan test score of 70 and a minimum score of 60 in the science portion. In the past three application cycles, the Tucson Nursing program has accepted, 23 %, 21% and 28% respectively, of the qualified candidates who applied.
Graduates of the Tucson BSN program are eligible to take the
National Council Licensure Exam for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN), and
begin their rewarding career in healthcare.
