School of Nursing undergraduate admissions

Have you completed the pre-professional and liberal studies requirements? Then you are eligible to apply for our Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. Follow the three steps below to apply.

Step 1: Download an application & information packet for your desired program

Step 2: Apply to Northern Arizona University

You can apply to Northern Arizona University online or by obtaining an application form from the Undergraduate Admissions Office.

Note: You must submit official transcripts from each university or college listed on your application to the university’s Undergraduate Admissions Office before your application will be processed.

Step 3: Apply to the School of Nursing

If you want to apply to the School of Nursing you must meet the following minimum criteria.

You must have a minimum GPA of 2.75 in prerequisite courses.
You must have successfully completed (or have the courses in progress in the semester you are applying) all prerequisite courses with a "C" or higher.
Complete* and submit the following to Student Services:
- completed application signed in all appropriate places
  - description of community volunteer experience (8 hours)
  - description of health care experience (8 hours)
- unofficial transcripts from each college or university attended
  - Kaplan exam
- two reference forms mailed directly to the School of Nursing

*Incomplete applications will not be considered for admission.
