Where are they now?  

Nicole Tracy-Ventura (PhD Applied Linguistics 2008) has accepted a competitive appointment as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Spanish Linguistics at Southampton University in the United Kingdom. The doctoral program and dissertation work she completed at Northern Arizona University will provide the research expertise essential in this new post. 

Rylan Morton-Starner, (Northern Arizona University alumni, General English) Fall  2008, and Flagstaff native, moved to Ecuador in January 2009. Rylan completed an internship with Mountain Living during the Fall 2008 establishing his writing for a nonacademic audience.

Rylan works with the Ecuador Reporter, the only English-language newspaper in Ecuador as a travel writer. His most recent story made their top story. He is currently learning Spanish and volunteering with a restoration program.
