Hotel & Reunion Check-in: 3—4:15 p.m.

Please plan to meet in the lobby of the Drury Inn of Flagstaff at 3 p.m. to receive your reunion materials. Hotel check-in also begins at 3 p.m. If you arrive before then, please check with the hotel to see if your room is ready for an early check-in. If you are staying at a different location, please plan to meet at the Drury at the times indicated below as this will be the departure and return location for our reunion bus transportation.

Campus Bus Tour:  4:15—5:15 p.m. 

The bus will depart from the Drury promptly at 4:15 p.m. for a guided tour of the NAU Campus and all of its changes in the last 50 years.

Riordan Mansion State Historic Park Tour & Reception: 5:15—7:30 p.m.

Following the campus tour the bus will deliver you to the Riordan Mansion State Historic Park. There, you will have a guided tour of the mansion and an exclusive reception for the Class of 1963 Golden Graduates. As you all will remember, Flagstaff evenings become cool very rapidly and you are encouraged to bring a jacket or sweater for this activity.

NAU Graduating Veteran Hail & Farewell Event: Kaibab Room, NAU Fieldhouse

Following the reception at Riordan Mansion, we will stop off at the fieldhouse in order for our reunion veterans to receive their NAU Alumni Veteran Medallion to wear to commencement. The bus will return you to the Drury following this event.

Enjoy some Free Time Together:  Have a leisurely morning doing whatever you wish and be sure to enjoy a meal before your activities begin at 11:30 a.m.

NAU Bookstore and Class Photo: 11:30-12:45 p.m.

Please be ready in the lobby of the Drury at 11:30 to board the bus for a stop at the NAU Bookstore to use your 20% off coupon.  Your cap and gown will be available at the next stop at Old Main, where you will dress and take a class photo on the front steps of this historic landmark before heading to the Skydome for commencement ceremonies.

Commencement: 1-3:30 p.m.

The bus will deliver you to the Skydome at 1 p.m. where you will be professionally photographed before commencement begins at 2 p.m. Golden Graduates will lead the procession and be seated in the front row with the 2013 graduates. Your spouses and guests will be seated in a designated area near you. 

Please note: If your are not planning to stay at your hotel on Friday night, you must check out of your room at the designated time on Friday morning. You will need to store your belongings with the concierge or in your vehicle. The bus will return to the Drury following dinner.

Reunion Dinner & Tour of the School of Hotel & Restaurant Management 3:30-5:30 p.m.

Following commencement, the bus will take you to the newly-renovated School of Hotel & Restaurant Management for an afternoon meal, small presentation and opportunity to share memories. Also at this time, the school will be having a reception for its graduating seniors from the 2 o’clock commencement in the building. A guided tour of the facility will take place by the Executive Director of the School, Richard Howey. After the tour the bus will return you to the Drury Hotel.

This Itinerary is tentative and subject to small changes!

Things to know:  The bus will be the transportation to and from the reunion activities, it will drive onto the Skydome floor to drop off and pick up at commencement. You can safely leave your belongings on the locked bus during events.

Dress code: Of course Flagstaff/business comfort, casual slacks, shirt, sweater, sport-coat, tie, comfortable shoes,

comfortable outfit, classy and sassy.
