The NAU Alumni Association Board Mission and Vision
Mission
The mission of the
NAU Alumni Association is to advance the interests of Northern Arizona
University. The Association will accomplish this by providing a medium through
which alumni can contribute to the welfare of the university in the areas of
advocacy, counsel, student recruitment and fundraising. The Association will
foster a spirit of commitment and loyalty between alumni and the university;
promote beneficial relationships among its members; acquaint alumni with the
progress and needs of the university; and communicate the needs of alumni to
the university.
Vision
NAU Alumni will take
pride in the university and value a lifelong connection.
Your Board
The 23 voting members of
the Board of Directors support and direct the efforts of the Northern Arizona
University Alumni Association, which represents a base of more than 132,000
alumni.
The board convenes on a
quarterly basis, and its committees meet regularly via conference calls to
formulate and execute plans, policies, and programs, and to give advice to the
executive director.
