Check your application status

Thank you for submitting an application for admission to Northern Arizona University. We process and review applications as soon as they are received. If you’re a Flagstaff campus freshman applicant, you can have a decision in as little as 48 hours.

Confirmation and next steps

You can expect to receive a letter confirming the review of your application. Inside, you’ll find a user ID providing you with access to check your application status.

To check your application status online:

sign in to LOUIE with the user ID found in your confirmation letter, enter your password
click “SA Self Service”
click “Learner Services”
click “Admissions” and then “Application Status”
- confirm/update your contact information
- view your to-do lists for completing any additional paperwork

If you don’t know your password:

Visit nau.edu/password and enter the user ID from your confirmation letter, with the password field blank. You’ll need to answer a security question to retrieve your password.
