Admissions Exams
We recommend taking the following exams as early as possible after you have completed the relevant course work. This may make your application slightly more competitive and gives you a chance to retake the exam if your scores are low.
- MCAT: Medical College Admissions Test
- OAT: Optometry Admissions Test
- DAT: Dental Admissions Test
- PCAT: Pharmacy College Admissions Test
- GRE: Graduate Record Exam
To help NAU students prepare for the MCAT, the office of Biomedical Professions sponsors a Kaplan MCAT course every spring semester for the April MCAT. If interest is high enough, another course will be offered in the summer for the August MCAT.
