The Hopi Cultural Preservation Office (HCPO) Home Page was created by graduate students in Anthropology 615, Southwest Ethnology, Spring Semester 1996 at Northern Arizona University, under the instruction of Dr. Miguel Vasquez, with the collaboration and consent of the Hopi Cultural Preservation Office, through Leigh Kuwanwisiwma, Director.

This Home Page won first place in the Society for Applied Anthropology President's Student Poster Competition at the March 1997 Annual Meeting in Seattle, WA.
