Diaries, 1922-1927 (Immanuel Mission, Navajo Reservation), also contains some copied textual material of interest concerning the Immanuel Mission during the 1920s. - Collection consists of numerous published resources on diabetes, especially related to the Navajo, Medical reports on other tribes are also included. There is data on all aspects of American Indian health, such as culture mores and sanctions, and strategies and programs on how to introduce Western medicine gradually by mixing the traditional and the "comtemporary." - A.F. Whiting Collection, NAU manuscript collection #25
- The Whiting Collection consists of over 55,000 pages of field notes and papers on many Native American tribes of the Southwest. Much of the information and field notes relate to botony, medicine, and health care. Tribes represented in the collection include the Hopi, Navajo and Apache, and Havasupai. The materials represent a treasure trove of original information on several southwestern Native American groups. The A.F. Whiting Collection Guide is available online.

- Camp Navajo Environmental Restoration Collection, NAU manuscript collection #304
- Reports consist of environmental impact assessment and analysis of past land use and constructions at Camp Navajo. Studies prepared by the Army Corps of Engineers and Tetra Tech. Specific reports include remedial investigation, geophysical and environmental surveys, contamination risk assessments, feasibility studies, and site closure decisions pertaining to landfills, ground water, ammunition and drum burial sites, and open burn areas.
